The Logan Fire

March 6, 2017

March 6, 2017

The fire moved at 70 miles per hour. Walls of flame 30 feet high. 32,546 acres gone in hours. There was no outrunning it. There was only standing and fighting — or losing everything.

This is the story of that fire. The fear that gripped entire communities. And the response — from every direction — that proved what we already knew: people on the plains are tough as nails.

You Were There. Tell Us What You Saw.

The fear. The fight. The response from all directions.

We're documenting the Logan Fire — the raw power of it, the terror, and the grit it took to stand up to it. Firefighters, farmers, volunteers, neighbors — everyone who grabbed a shovel, a hose, or a steering wheel and refused to back down.

If you were there — if you felt the heat, smelled the smoke, watched the sky turn black — we want to hear it.
